WHAT IS 'WAIT LIST', AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
WAIT
LIST items are those you are reserving to borrow, but are currently out
on loan in your size. While we cannot predict when they will return, as
soon as they do, we will be able to ship them to you. Simply:
1.
Order the item in the 'WAIT LIST' size as you would normally do for an
item that is in stock. In the comments section at checkout, write:
RESERVING WAIT LIST FOR EVENT (DATE).
2. We
send you an email confirmation that we received your WAIT LIST request, and will hold onto your
order. We do not charge the credit card for an item that is not in our
stock (however, your bank will withhold the funds for us). We charge for WAIT LIST items only upon shipment to you.
3.
When the item you reserved is returned to us, we will email you to see
if you would still like it. If you respond within 24 hours that you
would, we will then charge your credit card and ship the item to you.
4. If
we do not receive a response from you within 24 hours, the item goes
back into stock and is available on the website again.
** Please
note:
If you have a specific event date, WAIT LIST may not be the best
option for you. While many WAIT LIST items are out for approximately
two weeks, we can not guarantee an availability date, as we give
members the option to hold onto items as long as they would like.
We
only allow two WAIT LIST orders for a particular size at a time, as we
do not want to provide unrealistic expectations or create frustration
for you. If the system allows you to order the WAIT LIST size, you are
either the first or second person on the WAIT LIST. If it does not
allow you to order the size, there are two people on line.
If
you have an event date that is approaching, please contact us. We'll
be
happy to give you more specific availability information for the style,
or provide you with other beautiful options that are available in
your size.
